David Hunt is a Lead Character Rigger at Bungie, working as a member of the Bungie Technical Art Empire on the team that recently shipped Halo 3. David collaborates closely with Animation, 3D Art and Cinematic departments to create character rigs, animation tools and pipeline development. Prior to joining Bungie, David worked as Animator, Cinematic Artist and Combat Designer at multiple game studios in the Seattle area. In 2006 David taught the Animation Industry lecture series at the University of Washington, where he previously earned his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Art in 2000. Before working in the game industry, David got his start as a Stop Motion Animator, and worked as a Storyboard Artist and Art Department Assistant for live action film productions in Los Angeles. Outside of work David is raising three brilliant young gamers of his own with his loving wife, Beata. |
